The Wedding Ceremony

Victoria and Warren said ‘I do’ in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family from all over the world. The couple stood under the rustic wooden arbour at The Lakeview Ceremony stage and exchanged their vows. The Lakeview Ceremony Stage is nestled in the heart of the rainforest with wooden benches for guests to use, overlooking the beautiful lake.

The ceremony was visited by native Australian kangaroos and wallabies, delighting the couple’s Scottish guests. Following the ceremony, the bridal party took photos around the reserve, while the guests made their way to The Ferntree Room for the reception.

The Wedding Reception

The reception was held in The Ferntree Room, a traditional room with floor to ceiling glass windows giving guests a beautiful view of the surrounding treetops.

The reception room was styled traditionally with gold ribbons, gold candle holders and crisp white tablecloths. The centrepiece was a rustic gold lantern filled with tea candles and surrounded with beautiful greenery. The bridal table looked out over the reception space, where guests were seated on large round tables.

After the bridal party entered the reception room, the guests were served with alternate drop entree, starting with slow cooked pork belly, with muscat grape, fennel, pear and chives and cumin scented pressed lamb with fire roasted peppers, minted peas and black vinegar for the entree.
The mains served were roasted chicken breast with tomato sugo, black olive basil and roasted kipfler potato and eye fillet with portobello mushroom, potato gratin, wilted spinach and rosemary jus.

Once the food was served and speeches were made, the guests danced the night away to the Radio Club band.

Victoria and Warren left the following feedback, “You always dream of a perfect wedding and yesterday fulfilled both of our dreams. Everything from the venue, the food and a special mention to all your staff. They looked after all our guests throughout and still had time to have a laugh and joke. You’ve got a really good team of people working and we can’t recommend you guys highly enough.”
