Good to know

Wedding questions, answered

How far is Walkabout Creek from Brisbane?

Less than 25 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, at 60 Mount Nebo Rd, Enoggera Reservoir. You get the feeling of being deep in the rainforest without asking your guests to travel to the hinterland.

How many guests can you host?

Anything from an intimate elopement to 200 seated guests. Our ceremony spaces seat from 56 up to 200, and receptions run from cosy gatherings in the Ferntree Room through to 300 standing on The Deck or in the Banksia Room.

Can we have both our ceremony and reception on-site?

Absolutely, and most couples do. You can pair any ceremony space with any reception space, so your whole day flows in one location. Your guests stay put, and you move straight from vows to celebration.

What happens if it rains?

You're covered, literally. The Deck and our indoor rooms are fully protected from rain and heat, so poor weather never changes your plans. Many couples choose an undercover space precisely so they can relax about the forecast.

Is catering included, and what does it cost?

Yes. All food is catered on-site by Cuisine on Cue, priced per guest. Wedding packages start at $160 per person for cocktail-style dining and range up to $180 per person for individually plated meals, with reduced rates for children and teenagers. Ask us for the full brochure.

Is the venue accessible for all guests?

Yes. The Lakeview Stage is wheelchair accessible, The Lawn has its own driveway for step-free access, and The Deck is the easiest walk from drop-off. We're happy to talk through the best options for guests with mobility needs.
