Starting from the Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre and main car park, the Araucaria Track is a 5km return trip (1.5-2hr) that hugs the shores of Enoggera Reservoir and a bird-filled giant hoop-pine forest.
Enoggera Reservoir Circuit is a 10.5km loop, popular for running, hiking and mountain biking. The loop combines narrow hiking trails with wide fire trails with a few hills to climb along the way. Breathe in the earthy scent of the forest, feel the sunlight filtering through the leaves, and let your worries melt away with each step.
Dive in and cool off: Lakeside Swim
Hot summer day? Brisbane’s natural swimming pool is calling. Take a refreshing plunge into the cool, fresh water of the reservoir. A designated swimming area is marked by the large, yellow buoys and offers easy access into the cool waters.
